We want justice! We want justice! The crowd explodes as they pull on the doors of the UN Headquarters. I’m going up, says Niles in a panicked voice. What the fuck, says Ken. Men, listen here! Once the people enter this building we need to contain the chaos to this building! So you all should evacuate! Now! And once outside, surround the the people and contain the madness! screams Wasa. Yes, sir! they respond. What will you do? asks Ken. We need to keep that moron Niles safe, at least, says Wasa. And what about the doors? asks Ken. Let them come. All that matters is the safety of the people. We can’t let them trample themselves to death out there, says Wasa as they get into an elevator. What do you think is up there? asks Ken. I don’t know, but at this point I do have a suspicious feeling that it’s something that we already knew, says Wasa. Which is? asks Ken as the doors open. What are you doing here? asks Niles. We’re here to keep you safe, says Wasa. Safe from what? asks Niles. The mob that will come up here as soon as they breach those doors, says Wasa with a smile on his face. Why? Why did you let them in? asks Niles. Because at some point the truth will come out, no matter how hard you are trying to protect it, says Wasa.
Do you recognize this? asks X. Yes, says Kei. Do you know where the other one is? asks X. Which other one? asks Kei. Wait, what? asks X. Is there more than one? asks Yellow. No, says X. But that’s what he’s implying, says Yellow. What the fuck, says X. What did you mean? Yellow asks Kei. I meant what I meant, says Kei. Tell me what you know, or I’ll make your pal Telum, bash this guy’s head in, says X. Why would there be more than two keys of death? asks Yellow. I don’t know, but we ‘re about to find out, says X as he points his gun at Kei. A key of what? asks Ram. It’s that device they’re holding, says Kei. What do you know about it? asks X. Not much. Well, until you opened your mouth just now, says Kei. I’m gonna fucking do it! screams X as he turns his gun towards Telum. I didn’t know what they were called. I only saw one from Captain Wasa. I didn’t know what it was. I promise, says Kei. So there are just two? asks X. I don’t know, I just saw the one I told you about. And even so, I don’t think the Captain would tell me, says Kei. What about you guys? asks Yellow. Ram, Pincer and Mary shake their head. What about you? Yellow asks Telum. No. Not that I know of, says Telum. What the fuck is happening here? asks X exasperated. Mary pushes Kei into X, Telum pushes N into Yellow, as they both start running towards the two to take their weapons away. Gun shots are heard from inside the precinct…
We want justice! We want justice! the people are heard crying from inside the building. This is all your fault, says Niles as he points at Wasa. My fault? What did I do? asks Wasa. You failed them! screams Niles. How? asks Wasa. You’re the police. You’re supposed to protect and serve. And what did you do in the past ten years since a billion died? They should have your head on a spike! says Niles. You do understand that a billion died from all over the world, not just here, in our city, right? What was I supposed to do? Multiply myself? There’s only so much a few men can do., says Wasa. The cries of the people are heard getting closer and closer. You both can just admit that you failed the people, says Ken. What? asks Niles. Well, you should’ve know what was happening in the world, Ken tells Niles. And you, should have given the people an answer sooner, Ken tells Wasa. And what answer would have that been? One of no hope? One that would’ve let people know that if it were to happen again, we couldn’t do anything about it? People were grieving, Ken. We still are. Especially after the death of your partner, says Wasa. Wait, a new death? Like dead dead forever? asks Niles. Yes, says Wasa. Oh no… Not again, says Niles as the elevator doors and the door to the staircase open and people start flooding into the top floor. Quick, inside, says Wasa. No, says Niles. I don’t care, says Wasa as he opens the door and pushes Niles inside as Ken follows to close the doors behind them. What the fuck, says Niles as he looks around.
